Last-minute advice

A few weeks remain till we meet!

Our Host Committe in Kochi has the following advice prior to your arrival:

1. It is the end of rainy season in Kerala, so it would be advisable if participants bring an umbrella.

2. Nights will be disturbed by mosquitoes, so it will be good to carry some mosquito repellent - in particular those staying at the CRC (Congress venue).

Close of Registration

PLEASE NOTE: Registration closes at midnight on 1st August (Japan time).

Thanks to everyone for so much enthusiasm for our 33rd Congress!

If you have not done so, please register before the deadline, and alert anyone you know who has not yet done so.

With thanks again to all...

Dalai Lama article "Many Faiths, One Truth"

"WHEN I was a boy in Tibet, I felt that my own Buddhist religion must be the best — and that other faiths were somehow inferior. Now I see how naïve I was, and how dangerous the extremes of religious intolerance can be today."

..from the recent New York Times Op-Ed piece by the Dalai Lama, which includes a mention of his first exposure to Judaism - a visit to the historic synagogue in Kochi/ Cochin.

From the organisers
Thank you to everybody - organisers, participants, reporters - for a wonderful success!
