Venue: Free Religious Community (Freireligiöse Gemeinde) in Ludwigshafen (near Heidelberg, Germany)
22nd to 25th October 2009
A meeting for young adults in the Europe & Middle East (EME) region, parallel to the EME Region Conference 2009.
The aim is broadly to build on young people's commitment to the IARF, and strengthen their capacity to get involved in decision-making and project & programme implementation at local, national, regional & international level.
Like the Chennai meeting in September (see entry below), however, it will also serve as a preparatory meeting for the World Congress in India. The EME Region RFYN will prepare for the Young Adult Congress Pre-Meeting, 1st to 3rd September 2010 (immediately preceding the main event) by devising a program for this event & the Congress itself. To that end they will network over the intervening year with their peers in the South Asia Region RFYN.
This meeting will work out these communication details, as well as how the resulting channels can be used to generate campaigns of support for communities & individuals in countries where religious freedom is denied.
Program available here (PDF file)
